Problem

A hall floor consists of a rectangle 20 m20\,\text{m} long and 12 m12\,\text{m} wide, with a semicircular stage (diameter 12 m12\,\text{m}) attached externally to one of the shorter sides. In the middle of the rectangular part there is a square opening of side 4 m4\,\text{m} that will not be tiled. Calculate, correct to one decimal place, the area of the floor that must be covered with tiles. Use π=3.14\pi = 3.14.
