Problem

Let f:[a,b]→Rf : [a,b] \to \mathbb{R} be a Riemann integrable function. Let α>0\alpha > 0 and β∈R\beta \in \mathbb{R}. Then define g(x):=f(αx+β)g(x) := f(\alpha x + \beta) on the interval I=[a−βα,b−βα]I = \left[\frac{a-\beta}{\alpha}, \frac{b-\beta}{\alpha}\right]. Show that gg is Riemann integrable on II.
