Problem

Suppose that {v1,v2,v3,v4}\{\mathbf{v}_1, \mathbf{v}_2, \mathbf{v}_3, \mathbf{v}_4\} is a linearly independent set in C35\mathbb{C}^{35}. Prove that {v1, v1+v2, v1+v2+v3, v1+v2+v3+v4}\{\mathbf{v}_1,\ \mathbf{v}_1 + \mathbf{v}_2,\ \mathbf{v}_1 + \mathbf{v}_2 + \mathbf{v}_3,\ \mathbf{v}_1 + \mathbf{v}_2 + \mathbf{v}_3 + \mathbf{v}_4\} is a linearly independent set.
