Problem

Suppose T∈L(V,W)T \in \mathcal{L}(V, W), v∈Vv \in V, and ∥Tv∥=∥T∥∥v∥\|Tv\| = \|T\| \|v\|. Prove that if u∈Vu \in V and ⟨u,v⟩=0\langle u, v \rangle = 0, then ⟨Tu,Tv⟩=0\langle Tu, Tv \rangle = 0.
