Problem

Show that the vectors α1=(1,1,0,0),α2=(0,0,1,1)\alpha_1 = (1, 1, 0, 0), \quad \alpha_2 = (0, 0, 1, 1) α3=(1,0,0,4),α4=(0,0,0,2)\alpha_3 = (1, 0, 0, 4), \quad \alpha_4 = (0, 0, 0, 2) form a basis for R4R^4. Find the coordinates of each of the standard basis vectors in the ordered basis {α1,α2,α3,α4}\{\alpha_1, \alpha_2, \alpha_3, \alpha_4\}.
