Two vectors act at a point. Vector A has magnitude 7units and acts at 25∘ above the positive x-axis. Vector B has magnitude 10units and acts along the negative y-axis.
a. (i) Represent A and B to scale on graph paper, placing the tail of B at the head of A. Measure the magnitude and direction of the resultant vector.
b. (ii) Resolve A and B into rectangular components, add the components algebraically, and hence calculate exactly the magnitude and direction of the resultant.
