Problem

The rate equation for a reaction at 800 K is: rate=k[A]2[B]\text{rate} = k[\text{A}]^2[\text{B}] The initial rate of reaction was 5.50×10−4 mol dm−3 s−15.50 \times 10^{-4} \text{ mol dm}^{-3} \text{ s}^{-1} when the concentrations of A and B were 3.00×10−2 mol dm−33.00 \times 10^{-2} \text{ mol dm}^{-3} and 6.00×10−2 mol dm−36.00 \times 10^{-2} \text{ mol dm}^{-3} , respectively. Calculate the rate constant (to 1 decimal place).
