Problem

Recall Cr+(a)C_r^+(a) is the circle of radius rr that is centered at aa and oriented counter-clockwise. (a) Evaluate ∫C4+(0)z dz\displaystyle\int_{C_4^+(0)} z\,dz. (b) Evaluate ∫C4+(0)zˉ dz\displaystyle\int_{C_4^+(0)} \bar{z}\,dz. (c) Evaluate ∫C2−(0)1z dz\displaystyle\int_{C_2^-(0)} \frac{1}{z}\,dz. (The minus sign means clockwise orientation.) (d) Evaluate ∫C2−(0)1zˉ dz\displaystyle\int_{C_2^-(0)} \frac{1}{\bar{z}}\,dz. (e) Evaluate ∫C(z+1) dz\displaystyle\int_C (z+1)\,dz, where CC is C1+(0)C_1^+(0) in the first quadrant. (f) Evaluate ∫C(x2−iy2) dz\displaystyle\int_C (x^2 - iy^2)\,dz, where CC is the upper half of C1+(0)C_1^+(0). (g) Evaluate ∫C∣z−1∣2 dz\displaystyle\int_C |z-1|^2\,dz, where CC is the upper half of C1+(0)C_1^+(0).
