Problem

A simple pendulum has a length L=100 cmL = 100\,\text{cm}. A peg is fixed at a distance x=75 cmx = 75\,\text{cm} directly below the point of suspension. When the pendulum is released from a small angle on the left, it swings and catches the peg, oscillating with a shorter length on the right side. Calculate the total time for one complete oscillation cycle. (Take g=π2 m/s2g = \pi^{2}\,\text{m/s}^{2})
