Problem

Recall that a function f:G→Cf : G \to \mathbb{C} is even if f(−z)=f(z)f(-z) = f(z) for all z∈Gz \in G, and ff is odd if f(−z)=−f(z)f(-z) = -f(z) for all z∈Gz \in G. Prove that, if ff is even (resp., odd), then the Laurent series of ff at 00 has only even (resp., odd) powers.
