Problem

Given rods of integer lengths from 1 to 2N+12N+1, find the total number of non-degenerate triangles that can be formed from a selection of three rods. Show that the total number is N(4N+1)(N−1)/6N(4N+1)(N-1)/6, and find the total number of possible selections of a set of three rods.
