Problem

(a) Suppose that AA is an anti-symmetric n×nn \times n matrix over R\mathbb{R}. Show that ∥exp⁡At x∥=∥x∥\|\exp At\, x\| = \|x\|, for all x∈Rnx \in \mathbb{R}^n and all t∈Rt \in \mathbb{R}. (b) Find the stable, center, and unstable subspaces of AA.
